Beach in Natal

If you haven’t been to Natal, you could be missing out on the most magnificent experience of your life as a beach lover! Be one of the privileged few who have enjoyed the warm, crystal-clear waters and the purest air in the world, according to NASA studies. Not to mention the vibrant atmosphere that the city of Natal offers to its visitors. Let’s talk a little about the beaches, distributed throughout the city.

Famous for its beautiful coastline, Natal has to its credit some really breathtaking beaches that shelve miles across the city and in its environs. Offering powdered white sands, and a gentle breeze that is cool enough to prove a perfect blend of warmth and respite, the beaches of Natal are simply a tropical paradise. Some of these beaches, for instance, Genipabu, feature giant ranges of sand dunes but who would imagine, in this vast expanse of desert-like sand, suddenly the sea comes to embrace it. South Beaches

Cotovelo: Cotovelo Beach is already renowned for its calm environment and golden sand. This place is just fabulous to unwind. The view of the ocean from this beach is simply fantastic. Cotovelo in the Portuguese language means “elbow”. It portrays the curving shape of this coastline.

Buzios: I am not referring to Búzios of Rio de Janeiro, however this is a very quiet area, with still waters. It is the ideal place to enjoy a piece and water sports such as kayaking or paddleboarding.

Pipa: The Beach of Pipa is a wonderful spot, known for its cliffs, limpid waters, and active nightlife. It’s a paradise for those who like surfing; you feel the movement in the many beach houses bars and restaurants. Round Pipa you’ll find Nature, an area where you can watch dolphins.

Tibau do Sul: Praia de Tibau do Sul is a much more quiet aspect in comparison with Pipa, and thus much more relaxed. This beach is inserted in a frame of exuberant vegetation that puts the visitor in breathtaking scenery, where quietude, leisure, and contact with nature are offered in abundance so that one can unwind and enjoy nature’s beauty in the area.

North Beaches

Genipabu: Besides the beautiful and bigger sand dunes, Genipabu Beach is also famous for its natural pools. They provide dune buggy rides and camel tours – “dromedário”. The landscape is formed due to the dunes, which are the actual beauty and visual excerpt – a real image of Natal.

Muriú: It is characterized by its limpid waters and the length of the coastline. This place turned out to be favorable for swimming, sunbathing, and sports on water. Zooming nearby a bit to go to the Muriú Lagoon makes it possible to watch the diversified species of birds.

Maracajau: This real find is also known as the “Brazilian Caribbean,” taking into consideration its huge colorful coral reefs and sea life. Beaches Downtown

Redinha: Everybody’s favorite. Areia Preta: This is the only black-sand beach due to the minerals that are found in the site. The beach is very serene and not at all crowded, making it a perfect day for sunbathing and relaxation. The dark color of the sand makes it quite a distant and pretty landscape.
